When can I join a chat?
You can join a chat at any point from 15 minutes before the chat begins. Before then the chat will still be shown as ‘coming soon’. You can join a chat just to see the questions that are being asked and answered, or you can submit your own question(s).

When can I send in a question?
You can send in your questions as soon as details of a new chat are available – this could be anything from days to weeks in advance of the actual chat. Questions can be sent in at anytime – whether weeks, days or just before that chat takes place, and during and right up until the very end of the chat.

Will my question be answered?
Due to the potentially large number of questions we receive we can’t guarantee that every question that is sent in will be answered. The earlier you send your question in however, the more likely it is that it can be considered and answered. BACK TO TOP

How do I send in a question?
Just click on the appropriate link for the chat that you want to join and then enter your desired user name (whatever you wish) and your question(s). If you want to send in more than one, please submit them in as separate questions one at a time. You can use different user names for each question if you wish to. . BACK TO TOP

How are questions processed?
All submitted questions go to our moderator first. In advance of the chat it means we can organise and identify the most relevant questions and ensure that these are amongst the first to be answered by our guest. During the live chat itself, new questions will also be considered and passed through for answering if considered appropriate and relevant to the chat. BACK TO TOP

Why is there a moderator viewing questions?
As noted above, our moderators are able to assess and pick out the best questions in advance of the chat and organise them for our guest to answer. It also means we can ensure a safe environment with no abusive, rude or potentially libelous content.

Will my details be shown online?
Should your question be answered, the only detail about yourself that will be visible will be the user name you choose when you submit a question. This will be shown in the transcript of the chat that appears.

Are your guests really there?
If you can see them in your webcam, they are really there!

Can I interact with other online users taking part in the chat?
After any chat has taken place, you will be able to read the transcript online at any time.
